The Song of The Lord
The Song of the Lord is an interpretation of the Bhagavad Geeta in a newer fashion that was hitherto unknown to the readers and hence the book is a stand out among the gamut of the like discourses. The book deserves to be regarded as a pioneering work opening up a new Vista to the readers so far the understanding of scriptural or spiritual tests is concerned. The saints and the wise preach, – “know thyself”. But their counsel fails to elicit the desired results owing to various reasons that are extraneous. As you cannot test the sharpness of the edge of an ensheathed sword, similarly you cannot know the self encased in the body without transcending your body to which aim this book is to provide you with the key to your endeavor. In ultimate consideration life is divine and destined to be a drift in the immeasurable ocean of Ananda(Bliss).

Our good old earth has been blessed with the footprints of incarnations over the ages. Lord Krishna unequivocally declared the mission of such incarnations in the Geeta. The significance of such incarnations had not been revealed clearly during their lifetime. Hence research is still ongoing to discover the inherent truth of their Leela. Proper biography of such divine personalities cannot be written. Yet here is a biographical sketch of a person who is regarded by his disciples and devotees to be an incarnation of the Supreme Consciousness, who being born in a poor of the poorest family and having his formal education up to class two, could interpret all the scriptural texts of any faith at ease. In this book an effort is evident to interpret the tales taken from the scriptural texts, in terms of the realities of the human body for the readers with the expectation to realise them in their proper perspective to see the universal nature of them. They depict the truth the acceptance of which defies the barrier of race and creed or geographical boundaries. So far they have not been interpreted in such a way so that the common readers be benefited with the message, analysing the metaphors and symbols in those tales. And, now they have been discussed in a way that the inherent universal truth of the tales be clearly intelligible to the minds steeped in materialistic outlook even.

About the Author
Sitansu Ghosh
Born in a village in Hooghly district, West Bengal and his schooling was in an adjacent Village High School. He passed I.A. as a private student. The author did his BA Honours in English from a Calcutta college and M.A (English) from Calcutta University. Later on, coming in contact with his venerable Guru Sri Madhava, the author was groomed by Him in Indian way of life imparting lessons in Atmatattva(knowledge of self), Gurutattva (knowledge about Guru) and Sadhantattva (knowledge of austerity) extensively and finally changed the author to prepare all these which he is doing as best as he can.
